Reviews about Pharmaprix
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I just left Pharmaprix. I was really looking forward to spending 95,000 points - $170.00 worth of merchandise! I was on my way to the cash when my sister spotted something so I stopped to look back at her. At the same time, the cashier started to say hello to me. BTW I was not standing in front of her. She said hello again. I realized she was doing this because it was nearly closing time and she wanted to get out of there. I said nothing and proceeded to the cash. She started putting my purchases through. I've used points my points before but it had been over a year ago and I couldn't remember how it worked. My total came to $170.80 of which $9.61 represented taxes. My sub-total came up to $161.19. I asked if I could use more of my points and she said that I could only use what I had. I told her that I was going to use my points and she asked if I wanted to use it all and I said yes. So she proceeded to take-points from my card. I then had to pay the tax. Unfortunately what she did not tell me was that I still needed to spend and extra $9.00 (approximately). I did not clue in at the time. The time stamp on my receipt said 21:51. There was still 9 mins until closing time. An employee was at the door with the key in place letting people out. I got into my car, happened to look at my receipt and realized the error. I went back into the store (entrance only.... They did not let me enter the store) and I calmly explained to the employee at the door what the issue was. He said I would need to speak to the supervisor. Two employees walked up to me and I explained the same thing to him. He told me that I would have to pay the tax anyway so he wasn't sure what my problem was. I told him that 95,000points were taken from my card but I had only spent $161.19... So the store still owed me the difference (95,000 = $170.00) and he said that there was nothing they could do and that I needed to call optimum to get points back. WTF? Seriously???? What is wrong with this picture! The whole time this was happening the cashier was staring at me with a smug look on her face. Come on!!!! Let's be real... They wanted to go home. They didn't care what my problem was even if they are the ones whoa de the error. I'm so angry. If this doesn't get fixed tomorrow or Monday, not only will I take my bust elsewhere, but the pharmacist will also lose me as a customer and then I am going to make a very big issue about this to anyone I can. I know it's only $9.00 or so, but it's my money! And the way I was treated by the employees infuriates me. Bahhhh!by Nelly CoutinhoNovember 10, 2017
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Terrible ethics. Had a prescription written from on Ontario doctor, which had on it an extra insurance information to cover the extra costs of a non-generic. Rather than informing me that the insurance is only "valid in Ontario", they promptly ignored it. When I realised on the receipt that it wasn't put through to that insurance, they informed me of the caveat. So now my prescription is filled, can't get reimbursed for their negligence/mistake, and I can't take the prescription elsewhere.by Evan GreenFebruary 04, 2017
